精灵宝可梦发布会在5月30日举行，公布新作《精灵宝可梦Quest》，这是一款GAME FREAK开发的探险RPG，游戏将会登录登陆Switch和手机平台，游戏基本免费， 提供免费下载。
《精灵宝可梦Quest》将以关东地区为舞台，专注于探索以及宝可梦的训养成。
同时，精灵宝可梦官方宣布【宝可梦系列完全新作】2019年登陆Nintendo Switch。精灵宝可梦最新作「精灵宝可梦 Let's Go! 皮卡丘・Let's Go! 伊布」，登录Nintendo Switch，将于2018年11月16日发售。
