“羽毛”是《愤怒的小鸟2》新加入的道具，它有两种不同的用途，玩家可以将羽毛当成魔法道具来使用，效果类似于道具“金鸭子”，能够将所有目标以及建筑物瞬间摧毁，效果拔群。
另外，本作为怒鸟加入了一个新系统，让玩家可以使用羽毛对小鸟们的技能进行升级，玩家会在打通 25 关之后开启竞技场，然后就能够在竞技场中看到怒鸟的升级界面。
不同颜色的羽毛，对应升级相应颜色的怒鸟，而且升级还分为好几个阶段，只有将所有小鸟升满才能够进入下一阶段，升级尚未成功，同志仍需努力啊。
羽毛的需求量极大，而获取方式也有两种，一种是花费 65000 金币在商店中购买，另一种就是参加竞技场了。这里的竞技场不同于别的游戏，并不是以PvP的方式进行，毕竟不能让怒鸟们干起来嘛。这就变成了以正常玩法的方式来比拼高分，每天固定时间结算一次排名，排名越高所得到的羽毛奖励也越多，第一名有 50 根，而到了第四名就只剩下 10 根羽毛了。
